FAQ
Is this a church service or separate event?
The Egg Hunt experience includes a wacky 45 minute show that’s fun for the whole family - including games, prizes and interactive characters, like Wally the Bunny himself! This show takes place in the elementary kids ministry area (Kids Zone). Following the show, parents take their kids through an indoor egg hunt for a chance to win big prizes.
What is the show?
The show is a large group experience just for kids in K-5th grade. Parents/Guardians are welcome to join as well! Experience our Wacky Factory Candy tour, meet Wally the Bunny, play games to win prizes - for the whole room AND for select audience members - and learn a memorable story about our newest invention: the Eggscavator! Lights, music/sound effects and characters in costume are a part of the show experience.
Will my kids receive candy and/or prizes?
During the egg hunt, kids will search for plastic, candy-filled eggs in a fenced-in area filled with balloons! Each egg includes 1 chocolate and 1 non-chocolate candy. We are a nut-free egg hunt, so you won’t find any candy with nuts inside. Some lucky eggs include a hidden item that allow kids to win select giant prizes! Every child will leave with 10-12 eggs + 1 candy prize. Approximately 10 children in each egg hunt time will leave with an additional giant prize!
What can I expect at Check In/Check Out?
Families will be greeted at the main doors and check in with our volunteer team. Each child will receive a name tag and parent pick up tag including a number that matches both tags. To ensure safety and that children leave with the family that brought them, pick up and name tags will be checked before children leave the preshow. Should you lose your parent pick up tag, please ask our team for help; if needed our team may ask for a valid photo ID in order to verify identification.
Do I need to register?
Free pre-registration for the Wacky Factory Egg Hunt is encouraged but not required.
What age range is this event for?
The Egg Hunt and PreShow is designed for elementary age kids (K-5th) and their parents. However, younger children are welcome to attend with their parents.
We also offer Kids Zone Jr (for age 0-5). During the Sat. 6pm, Sun. 9:30am and 11:15am times only, parents have the option to check younger children into Kids Zone Jr for age-appropriate games, activities and storytime. Parents can also choose to sit with their younger child during the show in the elementary area (Kids Zone).
This year we are offering a sensory-friendly event especially designed for kids with sensory needs or disabilities ages 3-12. Hop down on the FAQ to read more about this!
When are the church services (worship experience) times?
A worship experience takes place during the Sat. 6 pm and Sun. 9:30 am and 11:15 am times only. Parents are welcome to drop their kids off in Kids Zone and Kids Zone Jr and attend the worship experience, if they choose. After the worship experience, parents will pick up their children from the kids ministry areas and attend the Egg Hunt as a family.
There are no worship experiences during the Sat. 12pm, 2pm and 4pm times. If you’d like to visit Allison Park Church and Kids Zone another weekend, find out about our weekly worship experience times here!

What if I have a question or need assistance the day of?
Look for anyone wearing a purple Wacky Factory t-shirt or lanyard. We recommend not asking the Bunny Bunch - Wally and Wilma are pretty shy and don’t talk very often. But they are happy to give you a high five or a fist bump to cheer you up!
What if I have questions before the event?
