Baptism

At Allison Park Church, we encourage people to be baptized in water.
We do this because:

• Jesus set a great example for us to follow when He was baptized (Matthew 3:16)
• Jesus commanded us to be water baptized (Matthew 28:19)
• We are offered a new and fresh spiritual life through water baptism (Romans 6:4) 

Everyone who repents, or turns away from a life of sin and disobedience and believes in Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord (Master) are to be water baptized. When we follow this step of obedience to Jesus' command, we tell the world that our sins have died with Christ and that we also have been raised with Him to walk in this new life!
